| A Perfect Pairing |

Mood: eager, 1142 Views |  | You know, you just absolutely know when you have paired the perfect wine to the dish. The options may seem endless, unless the dish happens to be ridiculously unique & demanding, then it may take some extensive searching. Certainly there is an array of "interesting" options... those which make your tastebuds jolt & wonder just what the hell is going on, but hey...it's interesting & fun, so why not? Often times, one of the two is ascerbic, or overpowering, or one may be shy, or too sweet, or aloof. But on those oh-so-rare occasions, when Someone has truly put forth thought & effort on just how harmoniously these two substances will interact chemically, texturally, aromatically and of course, tastefully...well, it is nothing short of a perfect reason to believe in God, when considering the odds. It is most definitely worth the wait, all the other experimenting... when you know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you have made the perfect match.
To sum it up, The Taste was incredible and the pairing.....stellar. I'm going back for more. |
